skyaoe: A native of Taiwan, Dr. Daniel Chia-Te Liu went to Australia for his bachelor and Master degrees. During the time in Australia, Daniel studied with John Luxton. He performed in master classes give by renown artists such as Geoffrey Tozzar, Michael Keran Harvey and Geoffrey Lancuster. Daniel went to University of Kansas for his doctoral degree. And he studies with Dr. Scott McBride Smith. Daniel received his doctoral degree with honors from University of Kansas. Daniel has won several national and international competitions which included the concerto division and piano and string division of American Protégé International competition, New Music Festival, Cortona Session in Italy, and the Hays Symphony Young Artist Competition.
